So, I decided to give the screen capture software a go and recorded my own.

Whole thing was 90 minutes in Photoshop, soundtrack by Ennio Morricone.

As you may be aware, I am a big fan of the Alien movie franchise (I prefer to deny the existence of Alien: Resurrection though). So much so that in 2006, me and my friend Bruce Smith started an Alien based costuming group called the United Kingdom Colonial Marines.

Anyway, 2011 is the 5th anniversary of the group and I was asked to create a tshirt design. So that’s how this painting started it’s life, as a reference pic for the design.

However, it was decided that it focused too much on the one character, so rather than a shirt design, I stuck to keeping this one purely as a painting.
